Project Assistant (1 Nairobi, 1 Siaya)
Position Summary: Working under the supervision of the Project Officers, the Assistants will support day to day planning, implementation and reporting.
Other Responsibilities
  • Prepare work plans and programs.
  • Prepare training notes and mobilisation of participants.
  • Support trainings and sensitisation meetings / forums for communities, children and duty bearers.
  • Support identification and enrolment of vulnerable girls to Bridge Centres.
  • Support monitoring and follow ups of project interventions based on project action plans.
  • Develop project case work, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Attend partners meeting.
  • Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Project Officers.

The successful candidate should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Studies or Community Development. 
Must be computer literate and have a minimum of two (2) years’ working experience in a HIV funded project. 
S/he should have strong knowledge of the different dynamics in communities, good mobilization skills and report writing skills. 
Driving and riding (motorbike) license with a minimum driving/riding experience of 3 years will be an added advantage.
